Vintage enamel Hearst Castle travel enamel shield charm- it is marked Made In Germany on the back. I believe this charm is nickle silver or less and not sterling silver. It measures 5/8ths inches tall with the bail.
Hearst Castle was the mansion of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst and was designed by architect Julia Morgan. In 1957 Hearst Castle was donated to the state of California and is open to the public for tours.
